Overview
The Cork Craft Month exhibition showcases the quality and diversity of craft in Cork City and County. Now in its fifth year, it has established itself as a highlight of Cork Craft Month and Cork's creative calendar, promoting both established and emerging makers.
Entitled 'Motive', this year’s exhibition highlighted the inspirations that have compelled crafts people to create their work, while focusing on craft objects that display a respect and understanding for materials combined with technical ability.
Vinyl lettering revealing the motives of each of the makers for creating their work ran its way around the exhibition space, linking together all the objects and giving them context.
